All looked good with the Wineguard transformer until I went to hook it up. In connecting the coax cable by hand, the receiving coax connector started spinning in the plastic housing. It ended up twisting, shorting, and breaking wires inside the transformer. The plastic transformer housing wasn't sufficiently molded to the metal F-type connector to keep the connector from rotating inside the housing. It was either a manufacturing defect or a bad design. Ended up tossing it.
