The only reason for 4 and not 5 stars is that it doesn't include any instructions at all, I used the photo to figure it out. We were having our roof replaced (complete tear-off) so wanted to relocate the roof-top antenna elsewhere. The antenna was mounted on a tripod over the center of the roof and as we had an addition towards the back with it's own peak (not really visible from the street) wanted to see if we could mount it on the eave (may upload a photo at a later date). The key to a good sturdy mount is to have as much wood as possible for the four anchor screws (very heavy duty included). My roofing contractor actually mounted it from the roof but a typical home owner would need to install via the side of the house on a ladder. The main bracket is angle iron treated steel and would appear to be decent against the weather (we'll see!). I also used a 1" schedule 40 PVC conduit pipe (put a cap on top as well so water doesn't collect in it) as the post instead of steel as it shouldn't be more than 3'/4' over the roof itself (again, this was based on other antenna forum feedback). Quick shipping in time for the roofer so as always, Amazon is great to deal with! Would recommend this product for small to medium antenna's that are OK being mounted relatively low over the roof, would also be very good for a dish antenna, nice and solid construction. Antenna reception is only marginally (less than 5% signal loss) by moving it lower but you should first try to see how your signal would be effected before going with this model -- had also tried relocating the antenna to the attic before buying this mount but had too much signal loss. This is in an effort to avoid having to buy cable or dish TV so ends up saving money as well as much less an eye-sore to a rusting tripod in the middle of the roof!
